Oasis Reunion Tour 2025: The Return of Britpop Legends

The famous rock band Oasis, led by the Gallagher brothers, has officially announced a 2025 reunion tour. The tour, called “Oasis Live ‘25” will be their first time playing together since their split in 2009.

Oasis, an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1991, quickly rose to fame as part of the Britpop movement in the 1990s. The band's core comprised the brothers Liam Gallagher (vocals) and Noel Gallagher (guitar and vocals), whose tumultuous relationship often made headlines. Despite their off-stage dramas, Oasis is celebrated for their significant contribution to British rock music.

One of their most iconic albums, "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" (199"), includes some of their biggest hits, such as "Wonderwall," "Don't Look Back in Anger," and "Champagne Supernova.”

These tracks, known for their memorable melodies and passionate lyrics, captured the zeitgeist of the '90s and solidified their status as rock legends. "Wonderwall," in particular, has become an anthem for unrequited love, widely covered and celebrated across generations.

Oasis’s music is characterized by its simplicity, catchy songwriting, and the raw emotion in Liam’s vocals, paired with Noel's keen sense of melody. Their songs often speak of hope, love, and the bittersweet aspects of life, themes that are universal and timeless.

The emotional depth of their songs, combined with their unmistakable Britpop swagger, has earned them a loyal fan base.

However, in 2009, after years of complications and arguments, the Gallagher brothers finally decided to disband

But despite the breakup, Oasis continues to resonate with old and new fans alike. Years later, the brothers are set to perform together once more.

The reunion was first hinted at back in 2023, and now it has been officially confirmed with shows on July 4, 2025, in Cardiff, Wales. It will then continue through various cities in the UK, including Manchester, London, and Edinburgh, until mid-August, with Ireland also hosting the concerts on August 16 and 17 in Dublin.

Oasis has stated there are also plans to expand the tour outside of Europe and the UK later in the year.

This reunion tour is a significant event for fans who have waited many years to see Oasis perform again. Make sure to check their official announcements for tickets and further details on additional tour dates.
