Supplemental Security Income (SSI) will get their monthly payment earlier than usual in October 2025.
This early payment will be sent out on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Why is the Payment Coming Early?
SSI benefits are normally sent out on the first day of each month. However, when the first falls on a weekend or a federal holiday, the payment is made on the last business day before the month begins.
In this case, since November 1, 2025 falls on a Saturday, the payment will be moved up to Friday, October 31.

Regular Social Security payments, such as retirement or
disability benefits, are distributed on certain Wednesdays in November, depending on the recipient's birth date:
- Wednesday, November 12: For people born between the 1st and 10th
- Wednesday, November 19: For people born between the 11th and 20th
- Wednesday, November 26: For people born between the 21st and 31st
How Much Will the Early SSI Payment Be?
