Here’s what stood out during this iconic event:
Parade Overview
The parade featured a grand total of 22 giant balloons, 34 spectacular floats, and 7 wheeled creations known as
"balloonicles," which combined elements of both floats and balloons.

Hosts and Performances
The event was hosted by "TODAY" show stars Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker.
Exciting performances and celebrity appearances included singer Sebastián Yatra and reality TV star Ariana Madix, who sang "Lovefool" by The Cardigans.

The parade closed with a festive appearance by Santa Claus, accompanied by Ms. Claus, elves, and dancers, heralding the start of the holiday season with a shower of confetti.
Incidents and Security
The parade was not without its issues. Several protesters were detained by the police for trying to
disrupt the parade route.
These incidents occurred despite warnings from Mayor Eric Adams against any parade disruptions.
